Hillbilly Pumpkin is a squatty isolation of Hillbilly cubensis, which was collected by Mycotopia forum user named “Hillbilly” in Arkansas in the late 1990s. The hillbilly pumpkin strain is known for its large and round mushrooms with burnt orange colored caps that resemble small pumpkins. The fat stipes make for easy harvesting when the fruits mature.
