In the back of High Times magazine, a mushroom grower placed ads selling spores. That grower, based out of Hawaii, went by the name Pacifica Exotica Spora. These spores sold by PES were not found in Hawaii. Hawaii is where the isolation work was done, and so that is how PES chose to name them. Hawaiian PES grows much like other landrace cubensis. It prefers humid climates.
